Collaborative, evidence-based care
You might be someone who is plagued by doubts. You fear that something awful will happen and feel the need to protect yourself or others from the threat. Your family and friends might try to reassure you, but you just keep imagining worst case scenarios. Perhaps you find yourself engaging in unhelpful behaviors that get in the way of the things that are important to you. Nobody can understand why you keep making these choices, despite their negative consequences. I hope to navigate these challenges with you in a safe and affirming space, where you feel accepted and understood.
As a licensed psychologist, I specialize in the treatment of individuals with OCD, anxiety disorders, and substance use difficulties, as well as families of individuals who struggle in these ways. I use evidence-based treatments such as ERP, ACT, Relapse Prevention, and CRAFT when working with clients.
I see myself as a guide, someone who helps you go where you want to go. I strive to move at a pace that makes sense for you. I have lots of tools and strategies that research and experience have shown to be effective, but you will decide whether these resonate with you.
If you’re interested in scheduling a consultation, please call or send me a message. I look forward to meeting you!
